Understanding Resilience, a Resource to Help Meet Life’s Challenges

Resilience is the ability to thrive in the face of adversity, such as a diagnosis of multiple myeloma. Some people are naturally resilient. But for most of us, a better understanding of resiliency and some “coaching” are required. IMF Chairman Dr. Brian G.M. Durie shares tips for increasing this valuable attribute.

Attention Myeloma Researchers: Funding Opportunity!

The Department of Defense’s Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program has released pre-announcements for researchers in order to provide ample time to prepare applications for funding. The IMF advocacy team worked on Capitol Hill to ensure blood cancers would remain as a topic area under the program for Fiscal Year 2020. As a result, myeloma researchers are eligible for this funding. Review the pre-announcement here. Reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions.
