Rebecca Lu brings extensive experience in multiple myeloma and plasma cell dyscrasias, having worked first in outpatient clinical care before moving into research, where she was instrumental in building the foundation of the myeloma research program. Her background spans clinical trial conduct, immunotherapies, and CAR T-cell therapy, giving her a well-rounded view of both the patient and research sides of myeloma care.
Ms. Lu is a committed scholar and educator, having authored multiple publications and presented at national and international conferences, including the International Myeloma Society Annual Meeting. She is also lead author of "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Multiple Myeloma: A Call to Action," reflecting her ongoing commitment to equity and access in myeloma care.
She is currently pursuing her PhD in Nursing at Texas Woman's University and serves on the International Myeloma Foundation Nurse Leadership Board. Ms. Lu is excited to join the IMF and contribute her clinical and research expertise to advancing the Foundation's mission.
