About Multiple Myeloma
Multiple myeloma starts in the bone marrow plasma cells. It weakens the immune system and can affect many parts of the body by causing the bone marrow to create dysfunctional antibodies and plasma cells. Living with or treating this disease means making complicated decisions, and this requires searching for reliable, current information on multiple myeloma.

According to a press release from Johnson & Johnson, "the European Commission (EC) has approved an indication extension for TECVAYLI® (teclistamab) in combination with daratumumab for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) who have received at least one prior therapy. From August 18-24, participants of the IMF’s Iceland Cycling Expedition will cycle across Iceland to raise awareness and funds to improve lives and accelerate the cure for myeloma. For the whole month of August, we invite you to join the Virtual Cycling Challenge — ride anytime this month, at your own time, pace, and convenience.
