This year, the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) has received the highest 4-star rating for the 16th time from Charity Navigator, the largest independent charity evaluator in the U.S. This year’s 4-star rating marks a fourth-consecutive year of this highest scoring for the IMF.
Michael Thatcher, Charity Navigator President and CEO, stated, “Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that International Myeloma Foundation exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work. Only 20% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 4 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that International Myeloma Foundation outperforms most other charities in America. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets International Myeloma Foundation apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”
Founded in 1990, the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) is the first and largest organization focusing specifically on multiple myeloma. The IMF is dedicated to improving the quality of life of myeloma patients while working toward prevention and a cure through our four founding principles: Research, Education, Support, and Advocacy.
While all of us – the myeloma community and the team at the IMF – faced uncertainty and new challenges in 2020, we never lost sight of coming together in service.
The IMF is grateful to remain by the side of all patients and caregivers in their myeloma journeys. Visit the following link for more about this Charity Navigator recognition of the International Myeloma Foundation.
