Khyre Edwards
Hello,
My name is Khyre Edwards; I am the new Manager of Grassroots Advocacy at the International Myeloma Foundation! I have worked in advocacy and organizing in some capacity for the last 20 years and am excited to bring those skills and experience here. I attended the University of South Florida and earned a dual bachelor’s degree in criminology and psychology. I previously worked with at risk youth as well as in local government providing healthcare and with nonprofits expanding programs and advocacy.
While I do not have a personal tie to Myeloma, I have had loved ones impacted by cancer and admire the great work everyone here has done to make life better for patients and their families.
In my free time I enjoy playing games with my children (Their current favorites are Munchkin, Cheating Monopoly, and Uno no mercy), gardening, and staying active. I am excited to join the team and hope to interact with you all soon!
