George T. Hayum

Entertainment Law

George T. Hayum graduated from Princeton University with honors from its Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He continued his work in this area on a Fulbright Fellowship in France. Mr. Hayum obtained his law degree from Yale Law School, where he served as Professor Alexander Bickel’s head teaching assistant in Yale College. For the past approximately 40 years, his practice has been in the field of entertainment law. He represents actors, directors, writers, producers, rights holders, production, and distribution entities in film, television, legitimate stage, video games, film distribution, remake rights, and the acquisition of literary properties. His practice includes many international clients. His pro bono work has included Doctors Without Borders, Board of Trustees of Antioch University, and the eQuinoxe writing/producing program. He is a member of the bars of California, New York, and the District of Columbia, and speaks French fluently.
