Speaker and Topic: Lisa Yacko, Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) and an oncology pharmacist by profession, with Amgen. Her presentation on BiTE Immuno-oncology was just recently approved by Amgen for support groups. We are honored to be the first group to hear it.
About BiTE® Technology
Bispecific T cell engager (BiTE®) antibody constructs are a type of immunotherapy being investigated for fighting cancer by helping the body's immune system to detect and target malignant cells. The modified antibodies are designed to bridge T cells to tumor cells, using the patient's own immune system to eradicate cancer.
In addition, Robin Tuohy, Vice President of Support Groups for the IMF will also be attending our meeting. We are always delighted to have Robin join us!
We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on Thursday, June 17 at 7:00 P.M. Be sure to mark your calendar and join us. Once again, our virtual meeting will open 15 minutes before (6:45) so everyone can connect and prepare for the speaker to begin promptly at 7:00 P.M.
As we get closer to our meeting date, a link will be sent to you. If you have not joined us before, this is your chance to give it a try. It is always so nice to see everyone.
