On Thursday, April 25, Nurse Leadership Board (NLB) members Beth Faiman, PhD, RN, MSN, APRN-BC, AOCN®, BMTCN®, FAAN, FAPO; Kevin Brigle, PhD, NP; Patricia Mangan, RN, MSN, APRN-BC; and Donna Catamero, ANP-BC, OCN presented Case Studies for Nurses: New and Therapies and Regimens for Patients With Multiple Myeloma at the 49th Annual Oncology Nursing Society Congress held in Washington, DC.
"This is the 18th year that the IMF has organized a symposium at the ONS Annual Congress," said Beth Faiman, who chaired the symposium. "This is one of the main ways the NLB shares nursing best practices and the latest data that contributes to improved patient care." Approximately 550 nurses from across the U.S. attended the symposium.
NLB members Beth, Kevin, Patricia, and Donna each presented case studies of different patient profiles and addressed how to treat each unique case. You can read about these fascinating case studies in the upcoming 2024 Summer Edition of Myeloma Today.
The IMF is grateful for the dedication of its Nurse Leadership Board to educate and reach out to broader healthcare professional communities.
