Anna: Hi, Larry. Thank you so much for chatting with us today. I'll ask you to introduce yourself.
Larry: So my name’s Larry D’Addario. I'm a leader of a support group for myeloma patients.
Anna: Awesome. And what inspired you to come out today to the family seminar?
Larry: There's always new things to learn. It’s good to meet with myeloma specialists who are speaking here. It's good to meet other patients. Also, there's many different support groups in Southern California, so other support group leaders are here, I can learn things from them. It's all very useful.
Anna: Awesome. And how has the myeloma community supported you in your journey?
Larry: Well, the – well, mostly by networking with other people. And the International Myeloma Foundation is very helpful. They do a lot for us.
Anna: Awesome. And what message would you share with others living with multiple myeloma or caregivers of those with multiple myeloma?
Larry: Well, it's a complicated disease. It can be overwhelming when you're first diagnosed. But, there's lots happening in - especially in recent years, there's many new treatments, people are living much longer. It's pretty hopeful.
Anna: Yeah, absolutely. And is it your first time at this particular event?
Larry: No, I've been here many times before.
Anna: Nice. And what does it - what does this particular event mean to you?
Larry: Well, as I was saying earlier, it's a chance to network with other people that, from whom I can learn things.
Anna: Absolutely. And is there anything else we didn't cover that you'd like to touch on today?
Larry: Uh, not particularly, no.
Anna: Okay. Well, that's great. Thank you so much, Larry, for your time. We really appreciate it.
Larry: You're very welcome.
