  • Lori's Growth in the San Fernando Support Group

I am so glad I attended the meeting last night.

I remember when I first attended, I was newly diagnosed, and now I feel I can help and be there for those just starting the process. It was so good to be there in person. I really want to thank you for running and keeping the group together.

It is so beneficial for all of us.

    from Lori

  • Impactful words from Annette

I am so grateful to you and Sally for all you do. The group has been a tremendous source of support and helpful information. I feel very close to the members. Thank you again.

    -Annette

  • Uplifting Words for Malcolm by Ramona

Abundant thank yous to you for your hospitality and warm welcome. Gary benefitted so much from the meeting especially meeting others who are in remission. He was blown away during the small group talk ....everyone was so cordial and forthcoming with information and history. It was truly comforting to him. His spirits were uplifted and I believe he feels more certain that he (and we) will have a much more productive future.

    Thanks Malcolm

    - Ramona

  • Thank you so much Mr Katz. It was a pleasure to speak with you and your group.

I was impressed with how well you were able to include everyone in zoom.

Dr. Amrita Krisnan, City of Hope

    December 3, 2020

  • Thank you Malcolm and Sally for another great and informative meeting.  We so appreciate all the time and efforts you invest to make these meetings possible.

    Much appreciation -

    Annette

  • From Michael

Just wanted to let you know I'm here at City of Hope, with Chris for day 1 of harvesting.  The referrals of doctors and process of choosing a care path was all facilitated and easier to navigate because of the resources of the group.

  • Lori's Warm Welcome

Last night was our first meeting.  It was good to feel I’m not alone. The group was very welcoming.

  • First meeting experience

We wanted to thank you for having us part of your group last night. We really enjoyed being there, as it was a very uplifting and supportive crowd. We especially enjoyed listening to Dr. Vescio, as he will be my fathers doctor. Your wife is very lovely! We look forward to attending future meetings and having my mom join as well!

  • Message from Marshall

Thanks Malcolm. The meeting was great, informative and I really liked the dynamics of the group.  Thanks for the nutrition info.  See ya next month.

  • Note from Annette

Thank you!  It was an excellent presentation.  I am so grateful for you, the group, and the speakers who share wonderful information with us.  Of course, the food ain't too shabby either!  It serves as my dinner since I come straight from work.  I need to remember to bring and contribute to the snacks.  I will make myself a note on my calendar right now.  :)

    -- Annette

    To Malcolm:

You and Sally are the source of so much solace to people like me, that diagnosis of MM was a one way trip to the vanishing point.

  • From Cathie

    Good Morning Malcolm,

Thank you for an interesting meeting last night.
I'm happy I was able to attend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Kudos to all of your hard work Malcolm, I am always proud to tell anyone who will listen just how important it is in my life to be a part of the San Fernando Valley multiple myeloma support group.

    Best regards,

    Michael and Vicki
