Dr. Juan Du Provides Updated Study Results of BCMA/CD19 Dual-Targeting CAR-T GC012F for RRMM Patients

Abstract title:

Updated results of a multicenter first-in-human study of BCMA/CD19 dual-targeting FasT CAR-T GC012F for patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM)

Dr. Juan Du (Changzheng Hospital, Naval Medical University—Shanghai, China) provides updates on the study results of BCMA/CD19 dual-targeting CAR-T GC012F for relapsed/refractory myeloma (RRMM) patients.

What is the purpose of this trial?

The study is an early, open, single-centered trial. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and persistence of BCMA/CD19 dual-target CAR-T cell immunotherapy in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). A B cell maturation antigen (BCMA)/CD19 dual-targeting CAR-T, GC012F was developed on the novel FasT CAR-T platform with overnight manufacturing and is designed to improve efficacy and depth of response.

Conclusion:

BCMA/CD19 dual FasT CAR-T GC012F continues to provide deep and durable responses with a favorable safety profile in additional RRMM patients across all dose levels demonstrating a very high MRD-negativity rate, including in patients refractory to anti-CD38, proteasome inhibitors (PI) and immunomodulatory drugs (IMiDs). GC012F is currently being studied in earlier lines of therapy as well as additional indications.
