When Katherine Morgan was diagnosed with myeloma in 2008, her biggest concern was if she would be able to continue with her life as she knew it. Photography was her passion, and she was also concerned about being around her beautiful children and grandchildren, who always have runny noses, etc. But she has been able to see them and make an effort to be sure they keep a fun relationship. Katy trained as a concert pianist at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and continues to engage in the fine arts.
