Tell Congress to Save Our Health Care

The U.S. Congress has taken the first steps to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA).The ACA has provided high-quality health care coverage to more than 22 million previously uninsured Americans. Vital to the myeloma community, the ACA provides coverage protections while prohibiting discrimination in health plans, banning pre-existing condition exclusions, removing annual and lifetime dollar limits for insurance coverage, prohibiting the revocation of coverage, and guaranteeing coverage acceptance and renewal. Many in the myeloma community and in other vulnerable populations rely on the ACA for continued access to health care for themselves and their families. For cancer patients and survivors everywhere, please join us in telling Congress that any repeal must have a replacement that ensures no gaps in coverage for cancer patients and survivors.

Dr. Usmani points out that thus far, the responses with DRd were potent and effective in early relapsed myeloma, and that the treatment benefit of DRd is maintained across all relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma subgroups.
