Saying Goodbye to a Myeloma Patient Advocate Extraordinaire

This week, the global myeloma community is mourning the loss of Aldo Del Col, Co-Founder of Myeloma Canada, valued member of the IMF Board of Directors, and patient advocate extraordinaire. “Aldo inspired everyone around him,” says IMF Chairman Dr. Brian G.M. Durie, who pays tribute to Aldo’s meaningful legacy. “His loss is tragic and profoundly sad, reminding us all that the hard work toward achieving a cure must continue with renewed vigor!”

The International Myeloma Foundation is committed to the search for a cure or cures for multiple myeloma. We invite you to join us on the road to cure. Learn how multiple myeloma experts define cure. Take Part in the 7th Annual Miracles for Myeloma 5K Run/Walk

On September 6-7, 2019, the IMF will host a Patient & Family Seminar at the Westin Charlotte (601 S. College St.) in Charlotte, NC. Choose between two registration packages—either attend Friday’s half-day session and the all-day session Saturday, or attend the Saturday session only. The 7th Annual Miracles for Myeloma 5K run/walk will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2019, in Oak Ridge Park, Clark, New Jersey at 9:30 a.m. ET. Last year’s run/walk event raised more than $80,000 to fund the IMF’s research to find a cure. Even if you cannot walk or run that day, there are many ways to contribute.
