Actor and Comedian Ray Romano once again hosts the International Myeloma Foundation’s 13th Annual Comedy Celebration. Catch Ray in action with an all-star lineup of comedians on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at our new location, The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Past performers have included Cristela Alonzo, Hannibal Buress, Danny DeVito, Gabriel Iglesias, Jimmy Kimmel, Marc Maron, Tig Notaro, J.B. Smoove, and many more! Stay tuned for updates about this year’s performers and for ticket information. All proceeds benefit the Peter Boyle Research Fund and support the IMF’s Black Swan Research Initiative®, for funding to find a cure for myeloma.

On September 6-7, 2019, the IMF will host a Patient & Family Seminar at the Westin Charlotte (601 S. College St.) in Charlotte, NC. Choose between two registration packages—either attend Friday’s half-day session and the all-day session Saturday, or attend the Saturday session only. Connect with other patients and caregivers. Together, we can learn, build community, and share our stories.

On August 23-24, 2019, the IMF will host a Patient & Family Seminar at the Hilton in Universal City (555 Universal Hollywood Drive) in Los Angeles. Calling All Researchers: Submit Your Grant Applications

The Brian D. Novis Research Grants honor the IMF’s founder Brian Novis, who succumbed to multiple myeloma in July of 1992. The grants are awarded to researchers working in the field of multiple myeloma and related disorders, including smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM), monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS), and immunoglobulin-derived amyloidosis. The 2020 grants will support senior research projects with $80,000 each and junior research projects with $50,000 each. The deadline for applications is Thursday, August 1, 2019.
