Myeloma Minute: It's Myeloma Action Month - Take Action Now
| EMPOWERMENT | Myeloma Action Month Join the Movement This Myeloma Action Month: Be a Myeloma WarriorToday, March 1st, we kick off Myeloma Action Month (MAM) campaign. This year’s campaign focuses on Myeloma Warriors - individuals like YOU who are surviving with the disease, supporting loved ones, or helping to find the cure. Join the movement by changing your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter profile pics to one of these Myeloma Warrior images. When you post messages on social media about MAM, use the hashtag #myelomawarrior and your messages will be streamed to our “Wall of Warriors.” We know that not everyone identifies with being a warrior. Myeloma patients, their friends and families, and health professionals, meet the challenge of this disease in thousands of different ways that are best for them. We honor your individuality and applaud your creativity! We welcome you to share your story today. |

Join Our Workshop in Denver |
The Southeastern Virginia (SEVA) Myeloma Networking Group has organized an IMF Fundraiser as part of Myeloma Action Month. The members of the SEVA Networking Group ask you to share this request with your family, friends, and neighbors to join the “Ten to Win” challenge. If 10 people donate just $10 and challenge their family and friends to do the same, there’s no limit to how much can be raised! Please join this challenge to help the IMF fund research for a cure. |
The IMF will host a Regional Community Workshop in Denver on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Registration is FREE, but seating is limited. Here’s your chance to learn from and meet one-on-one with myeloma experts Dr. Jeffrey Matous (Colorado Blood Cancer Institute, Denver, CO) and Dr. Craig Cole (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI). |
| INNOVATION | Latest Research At the One-Year Mark, the One-of-a-Kind iStopMM Project Is Already Revealing New InsightsCan early intervention and treatment prevent myeloma? The largest-ever myeloma project, sponsored by the IMF’s Black Swan Research Initiative®, is determined to find out.
