Myeloma Minute: Inspiration and Education
| INSPIRATION | Myeloma Voices Listen to John Auerbacher’s Story on Living Well with Myeloma for 14 YearsListen to 14-year multiple myeloma survivor John Auerbacher tell his story. John describes how a fall from a horse led to a misdiagnosis of his condition and then the eventual discovery of his disease. At the end of these intimate recordings, John shares his advice, saying, “The newly diagnosed patients will often tell you what they need - whether it’s just to listen, or if they want answers, or if they want reassurance. Oftentimes, [it’s hearing] you’ve been alive for 14 years - that in and of itself is very helpful for people just to hear.” |
