IMWG Recommendations for Diagnosis & Management of Myeloma-Related Renal Impairment

Recommendations developed by the International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG), the research arm of the IMF, were published online in the Journal of Clinical Oncology on March 14, 2016. The recommendations are based on data gathered through December 2015 and analyzed by Meletios A. Dimopoulos, MD, from the University of Athens in Greece, and colleagues. The IMF Publishes New and Updated Patient/Caregiver Materials for 2016

The IMF is pleased to announce the publication of several 2016 educational booklets, tips cards, and more. The updated edition of the Concise Review of the Disease and Treatment Options, an overview of myeloma, is now available. The IMF Presents Symposium at the Oncology Nursing Society's (ONS) 41st Annual Congress

The IMF Nurse Leadership Board Publishes "State-of-the Science" Guide to Myeloma

Congratulations to the IMF Nurse Leadership Board on the publication of “The Advanced Practitioner’s Guide to Multiple Myeloma,”a comprehensive supplement in the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (JADPRO). This collaborative work is a continuing education activity for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, advanced degree nurses, as well as oncology and hematology nurses, pharmacists, and physicians. The supplement provides the advanced practitioner in oncology and other oncology professionals with “the state-of-the-science information” needed to effectively manage the care of patients with multiple myeloma.
