IMF Research

The Nurse Leadership Board (NLB) is made up of nurses from the leading centers treating myeloma patients in the US. Their mission is to develop broad recommendations for nursing care for myeloma patients

The IMF has launched the Black Swan Research Initiative®, a unique project to develop the first definitive cure for myeloma. Led by a multinational consortium of leading myeloma experts, we are bridging the gap from long-term remission to cure.

The IMWG has a two-fold task: to conduct translational research—from lab bench to patient bedside—under the auspices of the IMF and to publish consensus statements and guidelines for the management of myeloma.

The late Brian D. Novis was the co-founder of the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF). In his memory, the IMF has established annual grants to promote research into better treatments, management, prevention and a cure.
