In this week’s video, Dr. Brian G.M. Durie explains why a baseline skeletal survey may be helpful, but more sensitive imaging is more precise.

BOTTOM LINE:
Rather than skeletal surveys, opt for MRI, CT-scans, or PET-CT scans to search for myeloma bone lesions.
