Kent Oliver, Director of Strategic Growth at Raanes & Oliver Capital Advisors, is a dedicated advocate, philanthropist, and myeloma survivor. Diagnosed with multiple myeloma at just 34 in 2015, he has devoted his life to supporting the myeloma community. His initiatives include developing Myelo™, the International Myeloma Foundation’s (IMF) AI-powered chatbot, and organizing the annual “Laughs 4 Life” fundraiser in Hattiesburg, MS, which has contributed over $320,000 to IMF’s research grants.

A marketing graduate from the University of Georgia, Mr. Oliver serves on the University of Mississippi’s Cancer Center campaign committee.  He and his wife Candace have two young daughters. As an IMF board member, Mr. Oliver values “the opportunity to help the IMF continue to evolve and grow in achieving the vision of helping all myeloma patients and their families to live a full life, unburdened by the disease.”
