Upcoming Events

LWM: MGUS, SMM, NDMM
This teleconference will focus on early disease management including criteria for diagnosis and best treatment options. Patients are increasingly diagnosed early and must be certain if decisive first therapy is appropriate or of observation is recommended. With the introduction of new therapies, there are many options to be reviewed and considered for patients in each risk group and with assessment for age and comorbidities. Current best treatment guidelines will be presented.
Miles for Myeloma 5K
The 2019 Miles for Myeloma 5K Run/Walk is a regional, family friendly 5K Run/Walk presented by the Philadelphia Multiple Myeloma Networking Group. The USA Track & Field/RRTC Certified 5K course boasts beautiful views of the historic Please Touch Museum and the Horticultural Center’s Japanese Gardens along with accessible and free parking! Proceeds from the event will benefit the most promising research initiatives as well as patient support programs of the International Myeloma Foundation.

In this seminar, you will learn about the latest treatments and management of myeloma. You'll have the opportunity to interact with other patients and family members who may have experienced what you're experiencing now. Also, these seminars are a great time to visit old friends, meet new friends and share valuable first-hand knowledge and real-life experiences.

In addition, these seminars are a great time to meet to visit old friends, create new friends and exchange valuable first-hand information and real experiences

I am doing this hike to raise money for the international Myeloma Foundation (IMF). My nephew, Timothy Gavallas, has multiple myeloma, and the foundation has given him spiritual support and a network of friends that have helped he and his family face their battle with myeloma.
