"To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science."

Innovation is the hallmark of the International Myeloma Foundation’s programs in our cornerstone areas of Research, Education, Support, and Advocacy. We are grateful for the generosity of a select group of individuals and families who have elected to give generously. These major gifts significantly impact the IMF’s mission, to improve lives while working toward a cure.
Major gifts begin at $5,000. These gifts can be designated toward a specific program or service, or designated toward the IMF’s general operating fund, which supports the bulk of our patient service programs.
Areas that have received significant funding from our major donors include:
- Black Swan Research Initiative®
- Brian D. Novis Research Grants
- iPads for Support Groups
- MRD Testing in Cure Trials
- Myeloma Today publication
- Physician Education Programs
We are eager to discuss how your major gift can make the most impact for myeloma patients and their families everywhere. To learn more about our major gifts program, please contact:
The Brian D. Novis Legacy Society is named for our founder, Brian Novis, to recognize individuals and families who have included the International Myeloma Foundation in their long-term estate plans. Members of the Brian D. Novis Legacy Society lead by example, making bequest provisions in their will or revocable trust, a qualified retirement plan assets (IRA or 401(k)), or life insurance.
To join the Brian D. Novis Legacy Society, the IMF requests that members confirm their planned giving in writing. No minimum commitment is necessary.
