The Flint Area Multiple Myeloma Support and Networking Group was founded in February 2009 by Judy Biesman, who was a Myeloma patient.  After attending a Multiple Myeloma support group in Ann Arbor, MI she established a local group for our community to bring the same resources and support to us.  Fellow member, Myeloma patient and friend, Lori Brewster, followed Judy in leadership of the group.  Our group has been meeting monthly for over five years and continues to grow in membership of patients, caregivers, family and new friends.

We are proud to be affiliated with the International Myeloma Foundation and supported by McLaren Corporation. We thank them wholeheartedly for their devotion to helping cancer patients live better, stronger lives.
