The Role of Timing with Autologous Stem Cell Rescue

Promising data about the use of Revlimid (lenalidomide) + Velcade (bortezomib) + dexamethasone (VRd) in myeloma patients up to 65 years of age has raised questions about the role of timing with autologous stem cell rescue. Health Canada to Grant Priority Review of Darzalex (daratumumab)

On April 17th, 2017, Health Canada approved Darzalex® (daratumumab), in combination with Revlimid® (lenalidomide) + dexamethasone, or Velcade® (bortezomib) + dexamethasone, for the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma who have received at least one prior therapy. Due to the high unmet medical need for multiple myeloma patients, Darzalex® was granted a Priority Review by Health Canada for this submission.
