The main aim of these myeloma workshops is to favour continuous education and
to serve as a forum for discussion on the scientific progress made in the experimental,
clinical and therapeutic areas of Multiple Myeloma. For that purpose, the most
relevant topics will be covered through specific symposia with invited speakers
who are renowned specialists in the field. In order to stimulate researchers
to submit their own work, in addition to poster sessions, we are planning to
introduce a small number of oral sessions at which the most recent data and
ideas can be discussed. Moreover, meet-the-expert sessions will be organised
to promote personal interaction with recognised leaders in multiple myeloma
research. Salamanca is steeped in history and boasts some of the most beautiful architecture
in Spain. The academic atmosphere, close proximity between sites and hotels,
and Congress Centre located in the heart of the city, make Salamanca an excellent
conference venue. The IMF is a special sponsor of the event. Visit the Workshop
Site for more information.
