This is an invitation-only meeting devoted exclusively to hematologists and oncologists that treat myeloma. It is a unique opportunity for these physicians to receive feedback from experienced hematologists and oncologists related to how they deal with myeloma treatments across the country. The participating audience will be able to share their thoughts about their own patients' care, but also have the opportunity to debate particular treatment recommendations of the discussant leaders. Discussant Leaders Vincent Rajkumar, MD William Bensinger, MD This educational symposium is the result of a partnership between the Network for Oncology Communication and Research (NOCR) and the International Myeloma Foundation, and is sponsored by an unrestricted educational grant from the IMF. A compilation synopsis will be published by the IMF immediately following the Challenging Cases meeting. The synopsis will include the actual cases presented, analysis and other highlights. The feedback and data presented at the Challenging Cases meeting will complement the manuscript on the Myeloma Treatment Guidelines drafted by the IMF Scientific Advisory Board, as well as draw attention to emerging trends in myeloma from practicing physicians across the country.
